• 120 grit Fine grade suitable for final sanding prior to applying a first coat of paint or varnish to wood and smoothing surface imperfections and textures. 80 grit Medium grade suitable for removing varnish, smoothing surface imperfections and sanding bare wood to prepare it before painting. 60 grit Coarse grade suitable for sanding rough sawn wood, rapidly removing previous coatings and shaping or rounding edges
