Products

Weird Fish has been producing comfortable, distinctive and affordably priced clothing since 1993, inspired by the Cornish coast and the outdoors. The range covers casual and active clothing for men, women and children — with a particular strength in knitwear, fleeces, graphic tees, shirts and outdoor-ready layers. The brand occupies a useful middle ground between mainstream high street and premium outdoor brands, delivering well-made pieces at accessible prices. In 2022 Weird Fish expanded its retail presence through partnerships with Next and Zalando, broadening the availability of the range significantly.

Delivery

Weird Fish offers three delivery options to UK and Channel Islands addresses. Standard delivery is £3.95, free on orders over £60, arriving in 3–5 working days. Express delivery (order before 3pm) is £2.97, free over £100, arriving in 1–2 working days — not available to Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands or BFPO. DPD Next Day delivery is £7.95 for orders placed before 2pm (Monday dispatch for Friday afternoon orders); same exclusions apply. Click and Collect to Weird Fish stores is free (free over £60 to Post Offices), ready within 5 working days. Remote postcodes including Scottish Isles, Northern Ireland and Channel Islands may take a little longer across all options.

Returns and refunds

Items can be returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund, provided they are unworn and in new condition with tags attached. Faulty items are covered for 6 months from purchase — contact Weird Fish or the retailer the product was bought from as soon as a fault occurs, with proof of purchase. The partnership with the charity Newlife means end-of-line and unsaleable returned products are donated rather than destroyed, an admirable approach to reducing fashion waste.

Customer Services

Customer service is available by phone and email, with a friendly and responsive team reflecting the brand’s informal, coastal character. Weird Fish has built a loyal customer base over more than 30 years by delivering consistent quality and value, and the customer service operation reflects that heritage. The Green Story sustainability platform partnership means customers can also see the environmental impact of their purchases, which adds a transparent and engaging dimension to the post-purchase experience.

Carbon Footprint

Weird Fish takes sustainability seriously and has made it a central part of the brand’s identity. New materials including recycled polyester, organic cotton, bamboo, linen, natural viscose and Tencel are being progressively introduced, with a target of 90% sustainably sourced products by 2026. Unsold stock and returned items are donated through the Newlife charity rather than going to landfill. Fabric offcuts and trims are donated to fashion students. The Green Story platform partnership allows customers to see the positive environmental impact of each purchase across energy, emissions, water and pesticides. This is one of the most transparent and committed sustainability programmes among UK clothing brands of this size.

Carbon Footprint

Weird Fish is always striving to reduce its carbon foootprint to a minimum and, for the last few years, it has been introducing the usage of new materials such as recycled polyester, natural viscose, bamboo, organic cotton, linen and tencel. This is line with their strong production ethics and their desire to make sustainability a major goal. Their clothes are already partly recyclable due to the materials used on its production but the aim to to achieve a 90% of their products to be sustainably sourced by 2026 should place this company this company high on the list of supliers for concious shoppers. On top of this, returns and end of line products will be donated and distributed through the charity "Newlife" and trims and spare materials go to fashion university students to be used in their projects. Nothing goes to waste and customers are welcome to be part of this journey thanks to Weird Fish partnering in 2022 with Green Story. A Sustainability platform that allows you to see the positive impact your shop has on the environment (Energy, emissions, water and pesticides)
