About Lego Outlet
LEGO is one of the most globally recognised brands in recent history. Originating in Denmark in 1932, the name is derived from the Danish phrase leg godt, meaning play well. The company started with wooden toys but transitioned to producing plastic interlocking bricks in 1958. These LEGO bricks, with their strong structural integrity, laid the foundation for LEGO's success. In the 1960s the modern Lego brick was introduced, which allowed for more variety and creative constructions. In particular, collaborations with brands such as Star Wars helped bring the brand back to full popularity. The 2000s saw LEGO regaining popularity with adults, with more complex and time consuming project sets being produced.
